Walk For Those Who Can’t benefits The Adrenoleukodystrophy or ALD Foundation. ALD is a genetically determined, pediatric neurological disorder which affects boys fatally. Since 2000, The Adrenoleukodystrophy Foundation has served families in many countries and, works with the very best medical researchers at the top institutions in the world. Resources generated through this walk will underwrite better education programs for newly identified families, seek to ensure that each child born in this country is screened for ALD on their day of brith and, answer questions about this disorder which have plagues science for more than a generation.
